Dr. Kiran Srivastava, wife of Dr. Prakash Chandra Srivastava with his son Dr. Rituraj, laid the foundation of the Prakash-Kiran Charitable Trust to fulfill the philanthropic dreams of Dr. Prakash Chandra Srivastava. Dr. Kiran Srivastava has been working continuously in the field of education for the last 43 years.   She topped in MA at the University of Allahabad. She retired as Principal from KP Girls Inter College, Prayagraj. She established  Prakash-Kiran Educational Institution under the Prakash-Kiran Charitable Trust with the objective of making students self-reliant  in the field of rehabilitation. With the message of "Tamso Ma Jyotirgamay" this Institution gives the real meaning to its name 'Prakash-Kiran'.  This Institute is committed to produce excellent teachers in the field of rehabilitation. Prakash Kiran International School was also established under Prakash-Kiran Charitable Trust. Apart from providing quality education to the children in rural area, this school also provides completely free education to Divyang children.

• 4. Two Year (Four Semester) D.Ed Special Education Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) (Formerly MR)
• 5. Two Year (Four Semester) D.Ed Special Education Visual Impairment (VI)
• 6. Two Year (Four Semester) D.Ed Special Education Multiple Disabilities (MD) 

All the above courses are approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India and U.P. Govt. The fees for all of the above courses is as per RCI norms.

Any normal person can take admission in the above courses and minimum qualification is to pass the intermediate with 50 percent marks (45 percent for SC and ST). According to the decision given in the Gazette dated 23^rd  August 2010 of NCTE, this special educator course is equivalent to BTC (D.El.Ed.). Also as per the notification of CBSE dated 16^th July 2020, every secondary and senior secondary schools should appoint special educators on full time basis.
